Referral Programme Terms

1. Overview

These terms govern the Sendchrono referral programme (the "Programme"), under which customers can earn rewards by inviting new customers. By sharing your referral code or entering someone else's, you agree to these terms. The Programme is offered at our discretion and forms part of, and is subject to, your overall Sendchrono customer agreement.

2. Who can take part

You must hold a registered Sendchrono account in good standing. One account is allowed per person. Both the person making a referral (the "Referrer") and the person accepting it (the "Friend") take part by using the Programme — for example by sharing a code or signing up with one.

3. What counts as a qualifying referral

A referral earns a reward only when all of the following are true:

• The Friend is new to Sendchrono and has never registered an account before.
• The Friend enters the Referrer's referral code when they sign up (it can't be added after their first transfer).
• The Friend completes their first transfer successfully, and it is not cancelled or reversed.
• That first transfer is for 100,000 XAF or more (or the equivalent in the currency sent).
• The money is sent to someone other than the Referrer.

Only a Friend's very first transfer can qualify. Later transfers, repeat sign-ups, or referrals to someone who has used Sendchrono before do not qualify.

4. Rewards

When a referral qualifies:

• The Referrer earns 5,000 XAF.
• The Friend earns 5,000 XAF.

Rewards are paid directly into your transfer credit balance — in XAF for accounts in Cameroon, or the equivalent in NGN for accounts in Nigeria. You'll see the bonus on your account home as soon as the referral qualifies. Credit is not cash: it cannot be transferred to another account, withdrawn or exchanged for cash. A Referrer can earn rewards for up to 20 qualifying referrals in any rolling 30-day period.

5. Using your rewards

Because the bonus is ordinary transfer credit, there is nothing extra to do: it is spent automatically like any other credit when you pay for a transfer or top up. No minimum applies and it can be combined with any amount you add yourself.

6. Expiry

Referral bonuses paid into your credit balance do not expire.

7. Fair use

We may withhold, void or reverse rewards, and suspend participation, where we reasonably believe the Programme is being abused — for example through fake accounts, self-referral, multiple identities, or any transfer that appears fraudulent or breaches your customer agreement. We may also limit the number of rewards per household.

8. Changes

We may change, pause or end the Programme, including reward amounts and minimums, at any time. Rewards already validly earned before a change will be honoured. Any questions? Contact us at help@sendchrono.com.
